I am a student studying Data Communication In Turku university of Applied Science, Finland. I would like to include Wippies as one of the case studies in my graduate thesis (Multi-organizational WLAN Roaming). I have couple of questions about the wippies IPSEC based authenication method. I have tried to contact via email support@wippies.com and JakkoJ, who is the project manager and keeping TechBlog of wippiesl. However, I did not get any reply so far.

Is anybody in this forum who could give me some basic answers to my questions or if anybody knows to which person I should contact concerning my questions?

My questions are
1. How the authentication process happens in wippies? (Do wippies use centralized authentication server such as radius? how the HomeBox communicates with client and the authentication sever during the process to grant the access to the internet?)
2. How the internal IP addresses are assigned to home users and WLAN visitors?

I don't think you will get more specific information about the technical implementation of Wippies than there is in Wiki:
