What is the cost of using Wippies services?
Wippies offers several services and most of them are completely free of charge, for example:
- Wippies Mail
- Wippies G-Lite (500 MB network drive)
- Wippies WiTag
- Wippies Blogs
For instance G-Lite can be updated into Big-G, a 50 GB network drive which costs 5 € per month. Wippies Big-G. Read more at http://www.wippies.com.
I've forgotten my username/password, can I get them back?
You can change for example a forgotten email password at https://my.wippies.com setup pages. If you can't remember the password of the setup pages, please contact Wippies support by email at (support@wippies.com). Provide accurate personal and address information so that we can verify your identity and possibly send the password to your postal address.
How can I cancel my HomeBox/WifiBox order?
Wippies HomeBox/WifiBox order can be cancelled by contacting Wippies support at (support@wippies.com). Be sure to include your customer ID and postal address in the message. You can see your customer ID by logging in My Wippies at https://my.wippies.com and clicking Contracts on the navigation menu. If you are considering canceling your HomeBox order it is also worth checking if the WifiBox would be more suitable for your needs.
How can I revoke the direct marketing permissions?
You can revoke the marketing permissions of your account by logging in My Wippies at https://my.wippies.com, see image.
- After logging in click Contact list on the navigation menu and open your contact information by clicking on your name on the list.
- Remove checks from the checkboxes of your choice at the Marketing section on the bottom of the page and click Save.
NOTE: At the moment it is not possible to revoke the marketing permissions using My Wippies site if you have ordered the HomeBox. This will be fixed, but meanwhile please contact Wippies support by email.
Editing Wippies Wiki
Editing the Wippies Wiki is possible for anyone registered on the Wippies Phorums. There is more info on editing the Wiki on the Main page.
How can I contact Wippies support?
- The recommended way to contact Wippies support is to log in My Wippies at https://my.wippies.com and click Contact us on the navigation menu.
- Help is available also at the Wippies Phorums: http://forum.wippies.com.
- Wippies support can be reached by email at support@wippies.com.
Why can't I connect into the wireless network or the connection is cut immediately?
- Turn off the power saving options of your wireless adapter or PDA.
- Use WEP encryption (for the moment).
