Introduction:
The homebox is a adsl2+/ethernet gateway with VOIP support and USB connectivity.
The Homebox black is based on a motherboard from Ikanos, Palladia 402[1], and the manufacturer of the whole box is Bewan[2]. The earlier white homebox model was based on Palladia 400[3] from Centillium[4].
Wifi:
The 802.11G wifi card inside the router is attached to a mini-pci slot, thus it's upgradeable. The homebox has two antenna connectors, one internal and one external making diversity possible.

USB controller: Via VT6212[6]
Switching controller: Infineon "Samurai" ADM6991[7]
