To set static IP-address in Windows XP follow these settings.

Opening Network Connections

From the Start-button menu, click icon Control Panel.

From the Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections.

From the Network and Internet Connections click Network Connections.

Setting Network Interface Settings

From the Network Connections find icon related to your connection, here it is LAN.

Click the LAN icon with the right mouse button. From the menu, select Properties.

From the Properties window find Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

With the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) selected press Properties button.

Set options as shown on the picture and press OK.

Close Properties window.

  • Kuva:Network_connections_LAN_properties_close.png

Now your network interface has static IP-address settings. You can access computers and other devices connected to the Homebox.
