WifiBox - Benchmarks

The WifiBox is based around the Atheros 2317 chipset.[1] The tests in this page shows routing performance in the Wifibox using WAN to LAN and WAN to WLAN connectivity. The tests are done using iperf.[2] Every test is performed five times, from these results the average, minimum and maximum values are calculated.
The wireless tests are performed at 1.5m range, using the WPA encrypted "wippies home" SSID. The network card used as client is a broadcom based 802.11g card, inside an ibook G4.
